Artomatic started in Washington, D.C. in 1999 as an unjuried art exhibit. It became a recurring show, popping up every year or so in various cities and venues, in part to showcase available real estate, as well as artists’ work. Frederick, Maryland hosted its third Artomatic@Frederick in 2016. Over 350 artists rented space in an empty downtown Frederick building that had previously been owned by the Frederick County Board of Education. The event was open for a month, free to the public, and multiple organizations worked together to also provide music, dance, poetry readings, staged dramas and refreshments.
Some of my Artomatic offerings are for sale or available as fine art prints, or giclées. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing.
