“Make Dip, Not War” was my donation to the 2019 Lend a Hand silent auction fundraiser for The Buddy Project in Frederick, Maryland. The Buddy Project focuses on autism awareness. The theme of the silent auction was “Planting the Seeds of Dreams”. Thoughts of seeds and dreams melded into my Guac-a-Cado Love Bird, with her avocado body and heart-shaped pit. Her message of Peace is a dream we all share and credit for the words notably goes to John Lennon. Although I’m not sure he had guacamole on his mind when he wrote the song “Give Peace a Chance”.
