Happiness is not always about the Bluebird. This 20 x 20 painting is a mixed media piece, with acrylic and image transfers. My process was inspired by the piecework that is involved in quilting, combined with the manner of color layering in silk screening. It was in a show titled “Life, Love & Happiness” at Crestwood Art Gallery at Frederick Health Hospital, where a portion the sale went to support our hospital’s Women’s Health Fund.
