“The Warrior” was my contribution to the 2018 annual Lend a Hand silent auction fundraiser sponsored by “The Muse”, a downtown Frederick, Maryland shop specializing in handcrafted items and artwork.

The selected Maryland charity was The League for People with Disabilities. The League is committed to offering individuals the opportunity to gain independence, increase self-sufficiency and to improve the quality of life.

The creative inspiration, provided by The Muse, for this artwork was Dr. Seuss’ Oh the Places You’ll Go. My particular quote was: “You’ll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You’ll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life’s a Great Balancing Act.”
